— Patrolling — by foot
— CCTV monitoring
— Mobile key holding
— Site Security
— a potential requirement for mobile patrols at various buildings
— Alarm Response
— Close protection work
— The provision of security services during office hours
— The provision of out-of-hours, weekend and Bank Holiday services

The London Borough of Newham is procuring security services on behalf of London Borough of Newham and London Borough of Havering to deliver its a range of Security Activities in their corporate and communal housing buildings which may include the following:

— a potential requirement for mobile patrols at various buildings

The contract is to commence in Spring 2018 and run for three years with a possible extension of 1 + 1 years depending on performance and budget constraints
The purpose of this pre-procurement engagement process is:
— Engage with the supply market to help us understand whether our proposed approach is deliverable and if there are any other potential solutions.
— Help us get a sense of the current market offerings and how they are bundled together
— Offer innovative solutions / technologies
— Warm up the market so they are aware of the procurement.
This notice is intended to inform prospective providers of the indicative tender timescales for the project and invite organisations to take part in a market engagement exercise.
The council would like to meet suppliers in a group basis to discuss the proposed approach.
