Tactical Disablement System (TacDS) Request for Information (RFI)
The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD), Joint Project Manager Guardian (JPM G) seeks to develop a Tactical Disablement System (TacDS) Family of system (FoS). The TacDS FoS will provide a suite of tactical disablement capabilities that disable (delay, disrupt, and/or degrade) or defeat (destroy) small quantities of Chemical/Biological Materials of Concern (CBMOC) contained in munitions and bulk containers and are able to be used in a hostile environment. The TacDS is a new capability area for the Chemical Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Enterprise. The JPM G is requesting additional information from the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Consortium members on their ability to provide TacDS FoS. The JPM G will use the information acquired from this RFI to optimize the TacDS FoS acquisition strategy.

If a solicitation is subsequently released based on the responses to this RFI the first choice for an acquisition vehicle, if appropriate, will be the Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA).
