MicroTech has been chosen as a Prime contractor to the US Army Rapid Acquisition for Materials for Prototyping (RAMP) Contract.
RAMP is a $192 million multiple award contract that develops, prototypes, evaluates, and provides worldwide technical and field support of advanced Research and Development and specialised sensors for Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) and other agencies.
With a period of performance of three years, RAMP is positioned as a highly accessible, one-stop-shop contract vehicle to support the Army’s rapid prototyping needs.
The deal will see MicroTech support the Army’s Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate at CONUS and OCONUS Army installations such as Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland; White Sands, New Mexico; and Yuma Proving Grounds, Arizona, as well as in operational theatres, combat zones and overseas contingency operations.
Dr. Barry West, President of MicroTech, said: “MicroTech is excited about being a part of this contract which supports this critical mission for the Army. RAMP complements our existing portfolio of Contract vehicles, such as Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Service (RS3), Information Technology Services – Small Business (ITS-SB), and the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2).
“This award builds on our already successful business and demonstrates our commitment to excellence.”
