Leidos has been awarded a follow-on task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide mission support services to the US Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Prototyping Integration and Testing Division (PI&TD).
The single-award follow-on task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $230 million.
CERDEC uses its unique set of core competencies to develop, integrate and deliver innovative technology solutions that inform and empower soldiers at all levels and help protect them from surprise attack.
Leidos will support CERDEC’s PI&TD by delivering equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials and other items and services necessary to perform Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems integration.
The company’s work will help PI&TD integrate C4ISR systems into military and aerospace equipment and weapons systems, as well as support evaluation exercises.
Mike Chagnon, Leidos Advanced Solutions Group President, said: “Leidos is pleased to be supporting our customer with prototyping efforts in new technologies across the Department of Defense’s C4ISR community.
“This work is critical in an environment in which the Army is seeking to stay in front of emerging needs and opportunities within the multi-dimensional battlespace.”
