Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits construction of a Dining Facility at the Special Operations Training Facility (SOTF) at Fort Bragg, NC. Construct a Dining Facility (DFAC) addition and renovation. The project renovates existing food preparation areas, serving areas, and�administrative areas. The renovation includes replacement of failing drainage piping systems, floor surfaces, electrical services, lighting, fire detection and suppression systems, ceiling systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Renovation will result in reconfigured food preparation areas, serving areas, showers, latrines, locker room and administrative areas to greatly improve the efficiency of serving the unit population and to improve the daily through-put time for individuals. The DFAC addition includes dry storage facility, administrative offices, shower/latrine areas, loading dock, swing space for refrigerated food storage, and temporary mechanical room. Project includes Intrusion Detection System installation and Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) connections. Supporting facilities include electric service, water, sewer, and gas, paving, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, site improvements, information systems, and anti-terrorism measures. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD’s Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Air Conditioning (Estimated 10 Tons).
