Contract Description:
 

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Calzoni (Cage: A0461) for the procurement of equipment to support Advanced Stabilized Glide Slope Indicator (ASGSI) Penetration Testing in determining Cyber Security vulnerabilities. Parts include ASGSI MCD P/N 3995AS2400-1, Azimuth Servo Driver P/N 3995AS2300-1, Tilt Servo Drives P/N 3995AS2300-2, Elevation Servo Drive P/N 3995AS2300-3, and Ethernet Controller Board P/N 3995AS2300-3.  There will be options included for an additional ASGSI MCD, Azimuth Servo Drive, and Elevation Servo Drive. The ASGSI is a stabilized optical landing aid which the helicopter pilot uses to visually establish and maintain the proper glide slope for approach and landing during day and night operations.  This procurement is not a small business set-aside.  The NAVAIR Office of Small Business Programs concurs.  The NAICS code is 334511.    

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.   The Government does not possess rights to the data to permit full and open competition.  All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice.  The Point of Contact is Ms. Meryl Czaplinski 2.5.2.5.2, (732) 323-7263.
