Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2020 is the leading annual defence procurement and supply chain event in the UK. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, DPRTE has been re-scheduled to take place on 3 September 2020 at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The objective of the event is to strengthen ties and communication between the Ministry of Defence, its prime contractors and the entire defence supply chain, encouraging organisations of all sizes across all industries to grow their business with defence. The defence marketplace in the UK is worth over £20 billion a year, with lucrative opportunities available for both new and existing suppliers – making DPRTE the perfect defence business growth platform.

Gateway to the defence marketplace
According to statistics from the Department for International Trade’s Defence & Security Organisation (DIT DSO), the UK is the second largest global defence exporter, commanding approximately 12% of the defence export market. There is real opportunity here to grow your business within the global defence sector, providing defence buyers with innovative solutions to their problems – all through effective procurement.
DPRTE has been successfully driving this message since 2012, and will continue to do so for many years to come, enabling buyers and suppliers across the defence sector and wider supply chain to collaborate and streamline their future procurement strategies together.
