Description
THIS  PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED TO THE DJIBOUTI  1ST MACC CONTRACTORS.  ONLY THE DJBOUTI 1ST MACC CONTRACTORS LISTED ON THE RFP COVER LETTER MAY SUBMIT A PROPOSAL.  SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS FOR SCOPE OF WORK AND ANY APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS.

Provide eleven (11) light poles, complete with steel reinforced foundations, anchor base, brackets, equipment identification, accessories and LED (Light Emitting Diode) fixtures.

Provide demolition and disposal of existing light poles and concrete foundations, site preparation on setting the new base pole foundation.  The construction and site design must comply with the most current Camp Lemonnier Master Plan and Installation Appearance Plan (IAP). The design must incorporate a similar color scheme for the building exterior that is compatible with existing facilities on base.  Provide Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) features and comply with AT/FP regulations, and physical security mitigation in accordance with DoD Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards for Buildings.  Department of Defense and Department of the Navy principles for high performance and sustainable building requirements must be included in the design and construction of this project in accordance with federal laws and Executive Orders. Provide a design that incorporates Low Impact Development (LID) strategies as appropriate.  Design facilities to meet or exceed the useful service life specified in DoD Unified Facility Criteria.  Incorporate features that provide the lowest practical life cycle cost solutions satisfying the facility requirements with the goal of maximizing energy efficiency.  Refer to the Performance Technical Specifications (PTS) in this RFP for building materials, systems, and construction requirements.
