Vysiion has been awarded a two year contract by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to provide a comprehensive service to support, grow and future-proof the Cyber Situational Awareness Fusion Architecture (CySAFA) architecture which was built as part of a wider contract, originally awarded in 2016.
The service has been procured through the Crown Commercial Technology Services 2 Framework and will allow the enabling architecture to scale in line with changing requirements in the Cyber area of Defence. The service supports the MOD’s wider Cyber programme and supply chain which are delivering big data application management and analysis tools.
Vysiion will be providing a range of services to support this private cloud infrastructure platform, leveraging its experience in designing and delivering solutions with high information security and availability requirements. The contract also involves working in close collaboration with the MOD’s other partners and delivery streams.
Vysiion’s Caroline Andrewes commented: “We are delighted to be expanding our delivery with the MOD and utilising our capabilities and experience in managing complex architectures. We will build upon our relationships with the MOD and its wider supply chain to create a highly effective, agile and flexible environment that can meet the changing needs of the MOD’s Cyber operations”.
